gentle exfoliation for a super clean feeling - 9/25/2008 11:54:00 AM I use this after I wash my face. You must use cotton balls or something that will slightly exfoliate surface residue after you wash. I had been using different brands of cotton wipes and pads but these did not work as well. I just used a salicylic acid peel and my skin is shedding. This morning I had to use about 15 moist cottonballs to gently remove the dead skin. You can see it working because you can see all the residue on the cottonball. I wait to write reviews to see if a product makes me break out. This does not. It's very gentle for my sensitive skin and leaves no residue. The main drawback is the bottle size. For as much of this product as I personally use each day, a bottle doesn't last me very long (less than a month). However, I highly recommend - because keeping exfoliated debris off my face means avoiding breakouts.

Great to use several times a week (for oilier skins) and has an almost scrub like quality when you wash it off. It's also safe to leave on for longer periods of time, I leave it for 30min+ and I have sensitive skin

Excellent Night Hydration Cream - 11/23/2007 5:50:00 PM Applying Sothys Noctuelle cream to my face each evening after cleansing with other Sothys products results in a refreshed healthy glow in the AM. There is a noticeable difference in skin tone (it's drier) if I don't take the time to apply the cream the evening before. This is an awesome (not greasy) hydration product. I wouldn't be without it ,especially in the winter months.

Wow - so amazing... - 7/3/2007 10:51:00 AM This product is so amazing for oily/combination/acneic skin. It really moisturizers, but somehow leaves the skin with a matte finish. I have tried every morning moisturizer, but this is the best. I've only been using it for a few days, but I see such a noticeable difference already. My skin stayed matte all day! My skin also feels very smooth. I love this! Wish it had an SPF for my fair skin...

Very Moisturizing - 5/17/2007 7:11:00 PM Yes it foams (slightly) and yes it cleanses, but it is INCREDIBLY moisturizing and anti-aging. I have sensitive skin and Sothys products tend to make my face slightly warm, but otherwise this is a FANTASTIC cleanser - particularly for dry, aging skin. The best I have used.

I first experienced this product when I had a facial at a spa, and the aesthetician gave me a few samples to take home. I have very sensitive skin and I found this Sothys product to be a good cleanser that felt very gentle and comforting on my skin. It's just a really luxurious way to cleanse and pamper your face! I love it!
