My skin is terrible. In the summer it is super oily and I have acne around my chin and occasionally on my nose. In the winter, it continues to be oily, but it also gets terribly dry and flaky (figure that one out) I've been using this kit for about a week and I have already seen improvement. The small bumps that I could never get to go away around my chin are completely gone. My skin is significantly less oily; however, I think the products are drying out my skin just a little bit. The cleanser is wonderful. It has a light lemon scent and is very gentle. The toner is difficult to use because of the pump system. The directions say to use two pumps, but that is barely enough to get a decent amount onto my face. The clarify lotion is pretty harsh if you use large amounts, and I can only use it at night. It does appear to work pretty well on getting rid of my acne. The oil free moisture definitely decreases the amount of oil on my t-zone, but it might be drying out my skin just slightly. The moisturizer does not have an added scent, which I am sure many people would not like. It smells slightly like plastic which takes a little getting used to, but it has not deterred me from continuing use. I like the exfolikate treatment as well, though i'm not sure if has made any improvements in my skin. Overall, I really like the Kate Somerville products. They seem to work much better than any other products that I have tried.

I have been battling with adult acne for over six years now. I had big, deep, cystic acne. I have been to many different dermatologists, which would prescribe me everything out there! The regime consisted of antibiotics, Retin-A, Spirsnolactone (high-blood pressure medication), Differen, Clyndamycin, and the extreme Accutane. I must admit that Accutane did work, but I did not like the side effects and having to take a pregnancy test and online test every month. I did a six month treatment four years ago and within the past two years the acne started coming back. Much more skeptical since I never heard of Kate Sommerville since here in Hawaii we don't have access to all these top spa's. Thinking about it, I decided to purchase it. I am so glad that I did and grateful that I invested my money into it! It has been one month now and I have not had severe breakouts like how I used to. Small ones pop up occasionally but go away within days. Since using it I did not get a severe cystic acne breakout! I can say my acne is under control without taking any medication or seeing a dermatologist! From someone who had cystic breakouts every week to none, I am so amazed by this product. Give this product a try and give it time! You will be glad that you invested your money in this product and will be happy with the amazing results!
