Overall great value - 10/31/2011 5:23:26 PM The Luminess Air system is great. It provides seamless coverage so you don't have a mask and the color match is perfect, it is like you are spraying on a second layer of skin. What I love about Luminess is that it doesnt harvest bacteria because you clean the stylus with rubbing alcohol after each use and the foundation is in an air tight bottle. The reason why I ordered this is for the sanitation quality and the full coverage because I have blemish prone skin. Many people in many reviews I have read say that they couldn't get the stylus to work, it just takes practice. You have to have the perfect touch and will get used to it after 5 uses and a pro at 7. I used the darker samples of foundation to practice on a sheet of paper so I didn't waste my foundation color. In regard to coverage, this is the best. I have used Chanel, MAC, Bare Minerals, Laura Mercier and get the best results with Luminess. I used the ultra foundation (the one that comes with this set) and then purchased the full size matte and like the matte a lot better because it stays on ALL day. I really like to use this on my neck and dcollet because think it looks strange to have perfect skin on your face and not on your neck and chest! received a half ounce (.55 ounces) in the full size and it runs out quickly (because I like FULL coverage), so I highly recommend using a concealer on any blemishes or characteristic marks that you want to completely cover. However, it is very easy to adjust how much coverage you want, so if you like lighter coverage, I am sure the makeup will last a lot longer in terms of number of applications. If you are deciding between medium and fair and are sometimes medium (like in Bare Minerals) and sometimes fair, get the fair because the shades are dark. I can wear the medium in Bare Minerals and wear the #2 in bloom from Luminess. I dont use the primer, blush, shimmer, or bronzer because I prefer to use other brands, but they do work well and go on nicely. I have yet to try the tanning system, but have read good and bad reviews. It sounds like it would be much more ideal for contouring or just to get a sun kissed look on your dcollet, shins, or shoulders rather than doing a full body spray tan. I was on the fence because of the price, but with Spalook you can use their current promotion code or order a TestTube and get a coupon there to save.
