Best Mineral Foundation - 8/16/2011 12:30:01 PM I purchased Philosophy Supernatural Foundation in March 2011 and am NOW just buying my next bottle! I use this foundation everyday. I used to be an avid BE user and decided to try this foundation since I use (and LOVE) Philosophy's skin care line. I will NEVER use BE again! This is a mineral foundation and though it is about $10 more than BE, it lasts longer and covers better than BE and the other mineral foudation brands I've tried. Plus, it took my skin to the 'next level' by minimizing my pores, controling my oily t-zone, and reducing blemishes. My skin has never looked better. I'm (a tall) 32 year-old and everyone thinks I'm in my early to mid 20s. My husband is the same age as me and I get carded when out, he doesn't :)

Perfect for summer - 7/2/2011 11:56:32 AM This is supposed to be a base for your makeup but I now that itis summer I have been using this instead and just adding a light dusting of mineral makeup mainly for the added sunprotection. It adds just enough color so I have a healthy color, stays on all day. This brand does not come off with sweat or even swimming and must be removed with cleanser which makes it great for our 100 plus weather. I would recommend any and all of the ColorScience products. They are lite weight but you look great.

A great dewy skin tint!! - 5/31/2011 9:37:11 AM This is amazing!! Slight coverage to cover all your little flaws so you won't need a foundation over this. You can also layer it for a little more coverage. BEST part is it leaves your skin with a dewy glow, not matte like other foundations that cake on your skin!! Doesn't clog my pores either, which is a HUGE bonus!!

Where Have You Been All My Life?? - 5/28/2011 12:13:43 PM I stumbled across this product from a website listing the best sunscreens for 2011 and I decided to try it. I have oily skin with large pores and I'm prone to break out. Normally I use DHC Velvet Skin coat (which is amazing but doesn't have SPF) and Bliss Instant Mattification (which is good for my T-zone and acne but once again no SPF). So when I found Jane Iredale's primer I was excited to try it because it had SPF and it controlled shine! But I thought it was a powder when I ordered it. It's actually a smooth cream that you sponge on. Its actually very easy to apply with velvety, clear coverage. I really like this product, it's my second day of using it. The only thing I don't like is the smell. It has an odd fragrance resembling mint gum or something. I usually prefer things fragrance free. But it does everything it promises! When I put it on, my skin looks 5 years younger and it hides my pores and controls my oily skin. Although it doesn't keep the shine away all day...you have to reapply.

Just perfect! - 3/14/2011 7:25:36 AM I purchased this product after reading that it is one of Eva Mendez' go to's. I really love the subtle coverage and spf for walking the dog and running to the gym! I apply this product after Kate Somerville's vitamin serum and my skin looks fantastic! I'm Greek with oily skin and this stays put almost all day and layers well under foundation for when I need a little more coverage. Totally worth it!

Can't live without it - 3/6/2011 10:34:56 PM I'm not a fan of coloured cosmetic powders. This one is in a league of its own. Blends with any shade of foundation, provided your skin is fair to medium, absorbs excess oil and shine, as promised and smells wonderful!

Love my Being True Medium 1 Pressed Compact - 2/2/2011 1:05:07 PM I've tried so many makeup lines, and this is my favorite ever! I use the tinted moisturizer first, then using a compact sponge (from CG brand, or whatever) , I pat the compact minerals on my face. What it does for me is: 1-hides my melasma from pregnancy 2-covers breakouts 3-doesn't clog pores 4-doesn't feel cakey--ever! 5-feels like perfect coverage all the time 6-easy to clean off 7-I never have to reapply during the day 8-etc Other brands I compared this with were: Colorscience--horrible, horrible, horrible (did I say horrible?). This is the worst makeup line ever-cakey, heavy, poor coverage, creases, etc. Don't ever use it, it's a waste of money. Bare Minerals--this is still pretty cakey and heavy on the skin, causing streakiness if you touch your face. I would use it if it's all I had, but prefer not to. Youngblood--heavy! This stuff gets into every pore and within minutes seems to accentuate oiliness, pores, and imperfections like fine lines. I do not like this at all! Anyway, since I've found Being True, I cannot go back to any other makeup, period.

I Can't Stop Touching My Face - 1/14/2011 5:01:52 PM The Present is good stuff. It goes on over your moisturizer and under any make-up you might wear. I use it instead of foundation, and it helps to make my pores look smaller and my fine lines less noticeable. However, the real wonder of the product is how fabulous is makes my skin feel. My face stays matte and silky all day! I have found that I prefer the look of it over the top of a luminous (containing light reflecting particles) moisturizer. PLEASE NOTE...Put on a thin layer of The Present, smooth it on instead of rubbing it in, and WAIT TWO MINUTES before doing anything else to your face. The two minutes wait time is imperative! If you wait, you'll love it; if you don't wait, you'll hate it.

Amazing Mattifying Primer - 12/30/2010 8:34:31 AM I have tried many many mattifying primers. I have dry hormonal skin that tends to become oily mid day. This product does not make your skin feel slippery like other primers out there that contain silicone. Other primers also can dry out your skin and cause flaking. This one has a nice uniform tint that goes on easily, absorbs quickly and gives a nice base coverage. My makeup stays on longer throughout the day and my skin never looks oily!! All this is exactly what a mattifying primer should do!! Give it a try.....it beats all the silicone products out there!
