Excellent Primer - 9/20/2011 11:14:55 AM I have very sensitive eyes and other primers have made my eyes run or even swell so I am extremely happy with Shadow Insurance! Not only for that reason but because the littlest bit is enough to keep my shadow in place for as long as I keep it on. Never creases or fades and makes color even more intense. It's perfect!

Perfect for summer - 7/2/2011 11:56:32 AM This is supposed to be a base for your makeup but I now that itis summer I have been using this instead and just adding a light dusting of mineral makeup mainly for the added sunprotection. It adds just enough color so I have a healthy color, stays on all day. This brand does not come off with sweat or even swimming and must be removed with cleanser which makes it great for our 100 plus weather. I would recommend any and all of the ColorScience products. They are lite weight but you look great.

Where Have You Been All My Life?? - 5/28/2011 12:13:43 PM I stumbled across this product from a website listing the best sunscreens for 2011 and I decided to try it. I have oily skin with large pores and I'm prone to break out. Normally I use DHC Velvet Skin coat (which is amazing but doesn't have SPF) and Bliss Instant Mattification (which is good for my T-zone and acne but once again no SPF). So when I found Jane Iredale's primer I was excited to try it because it had SPF and it controlled shine! But I thought it was a powder when I ordered it. It's actually a smooth cream that you sponge on. Its actually very easy to apply with velvety, clear coverage. I really like this product, it's my second day of using it. The only thing I don't like is the smell. It has an odd fragrance resembling mint gum or something. I usually prefer things fragrance free. But it does everything it promises! When I put it on, my skin looks 5 years younger and it hides my pores and controls my oily skin. Although it doesn't keep the shine away all day...you have to reapply.

I Can't Stop Touching My Face - 1/14/2011 5:01:52 PM The Present is good stuff. It goes on over your moisturizer and under any make-up you might wear. I use it instead of foundation, and it helps to make my pores look smaller and my fine lines less noticeable. However, the real wonder of the product is how fabulous is makes my skin feel. My face stays matte and silky all day! I have found that I prefer the look of it over the top of a luminous (containing light reflecting particles) moisturizer. PLEASE NOTE...Put on a thin layer of The Present, smooth it on instead of rubbing it in, and WAIT TWO MINUTES before doing anything else to your face. The two minutes wait time is imperative! If you wait, you'll love it; if you don't wait, you'll hate it.

Amazing Mattifying Primer - 12/30/2010 8:34:31 AM I have tried many many mattifying primers. I have dry hormonal skin that tends to become oily mid day. This product does not make your skin feel slippery like other primers out there that contain silicone. Other primers also can dry out your skin and cause flaking. This one has a nice uniform tint that goes on easily, absorbs quickly and gives a nice base coverage. My makeup stays on longer throughout the day and my skin never looks oily!! All this is exactly what a mattifying primer should do!! Give it a try.....it beats all the silicone products out there!

It becomes invisible on the skin yet leaves a soft, matte finish that looks completely natural and is very flattering. SPF 15 sunscreen never looked so good. Try this! You won't be disappointed.
