Surprise -

In order to test a cream, it must be applied on freshly cleaned skin, without any additional application of serums or any such other products. My skin is dry,and much more so during winter time. To that end, Marine Cream felt initially watery and somewhat thin when massaged between my palms and when subsequently to the face. But to my pleasant surprise, the watery sensation quickly dissipated and instead a wonderful smooth and light creamy sensation appeared, which was augmented by continued massaging of the skin. It is nice to see a seemingly rich cream start out light and fluid, instead of heavy and thick. It allows for significantly less massaging friction and less trauma to the skin. It appeared to be absorbed completely, leaving behind a feeling of replenishment without any need for additional product. The true test for me comes in the morning. I sleep on my side - right and left - and a cream that does not absorb, will end up on the pillow case, while I wake up with a feeling of tightness and dryness. Not with Marine Cream: my skin felt just as good in the morning as it did before I went to bed. So much so, that I could enjoy my morning coffee, before my shower, without that urge to moisturize right out of bed. I subsequently used it over other products (serum), with the same great result. I can imagine this being an equally pleasant cream to use during hot summer months, when heavy creams are prohibitive. I am definitely adding this cream to my arsenal.
