- 10/4/2011 11:59:39 AM When I first got this product I was a little disappointed because the oil was very sheer & I wanted something to penetrate a little deeper. That was my mistake, I should've read that its better for finer hair types (mine is thick & wavy). Well....I will say that while im not in love with this, it is a very good product as both a finishing spray for shine & to use prior to styling. It has a nice fragrance to it, but the oil is very light & seems to disappear into my hair, which I guess is better than having a greasy head! All in all....good product, but make sure its for your hair type!

I went to a beauty supply store and the cashier had a head full of voluminous hair she saw what I was buying and said my hair used to look like yours until I tried Alterna...since then I am hooked I have tried to go back to other products and kept coming back because instantly my hair would look life less and dull with the others. GREAT WAY TO TRY - 12/5/2010 10:54:55 AM I got this and have since bought full size products. My husband who has thick hair even uses. Besides being color safe and delivering great volume to thin hair the scalp treatment is excellent. I haven't been using long enough to see more then a few tufts of new hair growth but the treatment leaves my scalp in great condition as not being oily or overly dry. The scalp treatment I think is the key as it stimulates hair growth. I alternate the scalp treatment with others as hoping to get the thickness back in my thinning hair. The trio does give the look and feel of thicker hair.

My hair had become dry and brittle when it was colored and I had a hard time washing it (it was tangled and even painful, no matter how much shampoo I applied). This was instant comfort! I didn't need much and it became so creamy and my hair so soft! Highly recommend!

Hair transformed! - 10/27/2009 4:15:29 PM I received a sample of the Alterna moisture shampoo and conditioner with a recent mail order. I have tried numerous prestigious hair care brands to tame my frizzy fine hair. It was amazing what this product did for my hair, it is silky, glistening, no frizz. I am back on the website to specifically order the products. They are miraculous ...I have never written an online product review before but had to let readers know!
